 Let me take this chance to allow you to get to know me by saying what a pleasure it is to have this opportunity. Whether we haven't met before and you are using this as a tool to pick your Realtor, or we have met before and you want a refresher course, it's always great to be recognized. I have been in the real estate business in one way or another all my life. Starting in construction at a very young age in my hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina, my father taught me what quality craftsmanship truly was and to never cut a corner in life, business, or the quality of work into which you put your very lifeblood into. From there on I have always taken the time to pay attention to the tiny details that so many seem to forget, and it has paid me back in volumes both financially and with my reputation in the eyes of the client. The bustling urban landscape of Greensboro taught me many things as well. How to handle people, diversity, and adapting to any environment thrown at me. Sometimes at a moment's notice. After being born and raised in the Mid Atlantic/South region, my father decided he wanted to fall in love with a Canadian woman from Manitoba and moved us to the midwestern state of North Dakota. Talk about two cold winters! It's beautiful country up that way but he then decided enough was enough as well as he missed the mountains of the East Coast, so we took a journey and settled down for the next few years in Patrick County, Virginia. Specifically a small town called Stuart, named after Confederate War General Jeb Stuart. After graduating high school with some years of sports(football, baseball, track), and several clubs(Future Farmers of America, Science Club, and more), I ventured onto a medium sized Liberal Arts School in Southwest Virginia known as Radford University. Go Highlanders! Here I was a walk on for the University Men's Track team. I quickly realized that college sports took more of my time than I was willing to sacrifice from my studies. After two years of juggling figuring out whether I wanted to be an archaeologist, entrepreneur, animal conservationist, or world traveler(I know what you're thinking), I finally settled my heart on Marketing, which quickly became my love. The final two years of college became filled with hard core in depth marketing courses including business law intro and I, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, International Marketing, and more. I became very heavily involved within the school as well, winning a seat as the Junior Class Senator in the Student Government, President and inductee in the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honors Society(top 20% of undergrad internationally), Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society(top 10% within university), Alpha Mu Alpha Honors Society(Marketing Major Honors), College of Business and Economics Student Advisory Board, Club Programming Committee At Large Member approving financing for clubs and organizations, and being recognized with the Outstanding Marketing Student Award for the Spring Class of 2012. Once graduated, the decision on where to move was very difficult. I am a fast paced, let's get it done type of guy. Very type A personality in almost every way. After long debate, I decided to venture to the beach for multiple reasons. For one, I have family here now and in my eyes family comes first always. With a larger vision, I moved to Myrtle Beach because this truly is the land of opportunity. Taxes are low, climate is great, and there are so many potential ways for a young entrepreneur to make a name for themself here. I see a Myrtle Beach in the future with a bustling business atmosphere and younger people finding their way to a place where the wisdom of retirees can mingle with each other in a beach breeze filled harmony. Since moving I have been involved in the community in three short years in various ways such as two different young professionals networks, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador program where I took the Ambassador of the month award four times, Katie's Project Mr. Myrtle Beach 2015 Mr. Congeniality and Second Runner Up, Association of Realtor's Legislative Committee Member, and more. Let's talk or meet over a cup of coffee and discover my service difference.
